A foggy winter’s morning at Watervale Retreat
Watervale is in the picturesque Clare Valley, located in the Mid North of South Australia, approximately 120 kms north of Adelaide. Watervale is approximately 6 minutes drive from Auburn and 15 minutes to Clare. Currently there are around 20 wineries in the Clare Valley which undoubtedly has some of the finest wines, including Riesling, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
A central location, Watervale makes it a perfect place to stop. It’s just one and a half hours drive from the centre of Adelaide or the Riverland, a couple of hours away from the Flinders Ranges. Close to historic Burra and Mintaro, Watervale is the perfect spot for any visitors who wishes to make a day drive to any of the these locations.
